Make a difference to a family in the Flathead by donating property to the Northwest Montana Community Land Trust!
Property owners in Northwest Montana have the opportunity to support us in our mission of providing permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income families in the Flathead Valley. By donating property to the NWMTCLT, you can help us bridge the gap between the valley's high property values and the modest incomes of many who live and work here. Property donations can be accepted in a variety of ways that maintain flexibility for you and your loved ones.
Direct donation of property: The NWMTCLT accepts donations of improved and unimproved property with the goal of building or rehabilitating homes that go directly into our uniquely affordable home ownership program. By donating the unneeded property to the NWMTCLT, you are ensuring that first-time homeowners in Northwest Montana have access to affordable property. Donating also has significant tax advantages and deductions.
Bequest: Gift your property to NWMTCLT after you pass away. You retain ownership and all rights to the property during your lifetime. A bequest ensures a legacy of stability for families far into the future and decreases the tax burden on the inheritors of your remaining estate.
